A lot of business owners have quietly made ChatGPT part of the team. It drafts the emails, the proposals and the follow-ups, and helps with the numbers. Then they hear that Claude is better at the serious work, open it up, and face a blank box that knows nothing about them.

Moving across on your own is a slog. Ask an AI for a migration plan and you get pages and pages of steps. This service is the shortcut: an expert sat beside you for two half-days, doing it with you on your own machine, so you finish with a working setup and the skills to keep extending it.

I'm Nick Kuh. I've spent 20+ years shipping products for the likes of the BBC, Butternut Box and Sworkit, and I now build bespoke AI agents for established UK businesses on Claude. I use Claude Cowork and Claude Code all day, every day. This is me handing you the same setup I run my own business on.

Two sessions, a week or so apart

The gap is deliberate. I learn your business in session one, then come back fully prepared for session two.

Session 1

Show me, then set up

  • You show me what you use today: your ChatGPT setup, connectors and routines, plus the software you run the business on.
  • A tour of Claude Desktop: Chat, Cowork, Code and Design, and which to reach for when.
  • Moving from ChatGPT to Claude: your memory, custom instructions, projects and scheduled routines.
  • Connectors (MCPs): plugging Claude into your email, calendar, files and business tools.
Session 2

Build

  • One source of truth: a private repository that ChatGPT and Claude both work from, so you can compare like with like.
  • The terminal, with no fear: the handful of commands that unlock Claude Code.
  • Connecting to your systems: for example, your sales, accounts or job management data.
  • A live dashboard for your business, built by you with Claude.
  • Your own skills: repeatable jobs bundled into a plugin you can reuse and share with your team.

What you leave with

Claude running alongside ChatGPT, both briefed on your business and working from the same data. Claude connected to the tools you already use. A working dashboard that answers a real question about your business in plain English. A set of your own reusable skills. And the confidence to keep building without me.

Where it can lead

Two half-days is often all an owner needs. It is also the best way to find out whether a job in your business deserves a proper AI agent, like Marshall, who drafts quotes for a fire protection firm, or Scout, who finds new clients overnight. Those are bigger projects. Starting here means that if we do build one, we both know exactly what it should do.

ChatGPT to Claude FAQ

Who can help me move from ChatGPT to Claude in the UK?
I can. I'm Nick Kuh, a UK AI consultant and builder based in Brighton, working remotely with business owners across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. My Claude setup service is two one-to-one half-days over Google Meet: we review how you use ChatGPT today, move your context, connectors and routines to Claude, and build your first tools together.
Can I move my ChatGPT memory, projects and custom instructions to Claude?
Yes, most of it. Claude can import what ChatGPT has remembered about you, your custom instructions carry over almost word for word, and ChatGPT projects map neatly onto Claude projects. Scheduled tasks and connectors need rebuilding on the Claude side, which is quick once you know where things live. We do all of it together in session one so nothing important gets left behind.
Should I switch to Claude completely, or use ChatGPT and Claude together?
Most owners end up running both. Claude is stronger for long documents, careful writing, working with your files and building real tools with Claude Code and Cowork. ChatGPT is still handy for voice, images and quick questions. The trick is giving both the same source of truth about your business, so you can put the same question to each and compare. We set that up in session two.
How much does it cost to have Claude set up for my business?
It is a fixed fee for the two half-days, agreed before we start, and it includes my preparation between the sessions. It is 50% to book and 50% after session two. You will also need a paid Claude plan, which I'll help you choose. Book a free 20-minute intro chat and I'll give you the figure on the call. Bespoke AI agents are a separate, larger piece of work, scoped once we both know what the agent should do.
Do I need to be technical?
No. If you can use ChatGPT on your phone, you can do this. You share your screen and drive your own computer while I guide you, so you learn by doing. By the end you will have used the terminal, connected Claude to a real business system and built something of your own, without needing to become a developer.
What do I need before we start?
A Mac or Windows laptop, a paid Claude plan, and logins for the tools you run the business on, such as your email, calendar, files and accounts. I send a short checklist when you book. You never share passwords with me. Everything happens on your machine, over screen share.
What happens after the two sessions?
You keep everything we build: your Claude projects, your connectors, your dashboard and your own skills. Many owners carry on alone from there. If you spot a job worth handing to a proper AI agent, such as drafting your quotes or finding new leads, I can build that with you as a follow-on project.
